7.3.14 Wisconsin AM... Minnesota PM

Day 16-
We arrived late last night in Madison, Wisconsin. A friend of Christina hosted us. We woke up early to get our car inspected at Chet's Car Care. Paul was at the desk and gave us several suggestions that we followed throughout our journey out of Wisconsin.

Before we left Madison in the morning, we had bagels with real Wisconsin cream cheese from Gotham Bagels. We took our breakfast to go and ate by Lake Mendota with ducks around us.

We tried to check out the FOREVERTRON but it was closed. We managed to sneak a few pictures by holding our cameras over the fence. It would have been cool to explore inside. We also stopped by Circus World in Baraboo, WI. We didn't have time to go in nor the desire to pay the entrance fee. I was just excited to be there. I picked up a few post cards with vintage circus posters on them. I felt like the children in the past that would try to trespass to get access but circuses are secured to hide their wonders unless you pay. I really want to pick up circus arts.

We went to the Leinenkugel Brewery and took a tour. We made it just before they closed. We stopped by a Culver's fast food restaurant before we left the stat of Wisconsin and indulged in more dairy products. We shared an order of cheese curds and a milkshake. The intention was to hold our hunger over until we arrived to Minnesota.

We arrived in Minneapolis and attempted to find Minnehaha Falls. We had a good walked before we gave up because we wanted to make sure that we had time to check out the Mall of America. I don't like malls. We didn't find anything worth buying and the amusement rides were shutting down for the night. We had dinner at Matt's Bar and ate their Jucy Lucy burger. That is one burger that will surely shorten your life span. It was good. Just beware of the hot cheese melted within the meat. The burger helped fuel us for our full night drive to Badlands.
