26 Jun 2018. Cordoba, Spain

26 Junio 2018: Visitamos la Mezquita en Cordoba en ruta a Ronda.

Washington Post - In Andalusia’s three key cities, one of history’s great architectural mash-ups

Cordoba was the capital of the arab world - meya dynasty. SO MUCH HISTORY! Centuries! Read about it.
Mezquita is one of the largest mosques. Cathedral was built inside. All other mosque had been destroyed but this one was incorporated into the cathedral.

Al cazar = the castle, the palace.

(next part was written on Thursday 6/28)
This is travel time. I do not want to do anything. Perhaps I am fatigued. I am on my way to Fes and have spent at least 6 hours on a bus today with several stops. This is how tours work. Go, go, go. I want to arrive. I am tired of chatter. People talk. How do they have so much to say? Am I boring? Do I not care? I do not have the energy to actively contribute. I was looking forward to Cordoba. I was looking forward to Chaouen. Both were small stops. Not enough time. SHOPPING? How? Hmm. CATS! Animals. Ooh. Aww! Ice Cream - Water making noise from all the movement. I have a solution - MUSIC <3.

Ear Plugs in. Loud Music. 311. Distractions. I was having a moment on the bus. Okay, so Cordoba right? I needed more time. We had a local guide. I did not have time to wander and explore within at my own pace. We were in and out with an hour or so for lunch and souvenirs. I can't really tell you what I loved. Arches? The mixture of different time periods.
