Happy August! I am partial to the number 8. Infinity!
I am making choices. No one else can make my choices for me and any choice is the right choice. I am not worried. I am not stressed. I am sheltered. I am working at home. I want clean. I want space. Life is really weird. I am sitting here like Ariel in her Grotto. Happy.
Reflections (8/14/17):
Ocean City, Maryland is not very far away. The drive is not bad. I prefer driving down Route 404 than taking US-50 all the way down. In the past month, I have visited twice with very special people.
8/1-2:
Thunderbird Beach Motel was right next to the beach and guaranteed parking. We had access to the pool and changing rooms even after we checked out. It was nice. During this visit, I ended up purchasing nail polish from
Del Sol. Thier store was super cool and their products are amazing because they change colors. I hesitate to recommend their nail polish because they are fun but they chip easily and the pigment is very light and requires multiple layers for full-color coverage. The color change does not seem as apparent although I admit that the skies have been cloudy and I have not been able to directly expose the color to sunlight. Basically, they are cool but not that cool.
This summer we went to
New Jersey and
Minnesota. Both trips were super fun and amazing. I am hoping to work on those reflections soon.
I had originally intended to go to Spain in August and that did not happen to I dreamed of going to California. I decided to stay more local this month because I really wanted to rest and ground myself. I wanted to be near people I care about. I thought about going to other places by car. All can be done in the future eventually. --- Virginia? North Carolina. Florida? Louisiana? New York?
CANADA! Plans are in the works for Toronto in November and possibly Victoria, British Columbia and Edmonton, Alberta at some point in the future.
